[20:21:36] KataraPlushie "It's nice to see that it's a gorgeous day out there," Katara said to Aang on the third morning of their vacation to the Northern Water Tribe. For the past couple days, it had been pretty gloomy and bitterly cold outside, so to see a change in the weather was more than inviting. "Maybe we can actually go somewhere today."

[20:22:35] AangPlushie "Yeah," Aang remarked, looking at the bright sunshine. "We only have a few days left here, so I'd love to get something done. Anything you had in mind, Katara?"

[20:25:12] KataraPlushie Katara pondered on this for a bit before replying, "Maybe we could walk around the city a bit. But I'd like to do something more than sight-seeing. We should do something more exciting, something that could be fun for the both of us."

[20:27:07] AangPlushie "Fun for the both of us?" Aang asked, and he proceeded to go into thought. "Well...there's a few options out there, if that's the case."

[20:29:25] KataraPlushie "Maybe something like a Waterbending duel?" she asked. "Or even better, a snowball fight? Unless, of course, you don't want to because you know I'll win," she teased lightly.

[20:30:42] AangPlushie Aang scoffed. "You? Best me in a snowball fight? Very funny, Katara. I'll challenge you any day." He was wearing a smile of confidence on his face.

[20:33:39] KataraPlushie "Alright...," Katara told him with a grin. "But don't say I didn't warn you, Avatar Aang. But that aside, I also heard they recently built a water slide of sorts in the city. After I kick your butt in the snowball fight, maybe we could head there?"

[20:36:25] AangPlushie "Of course we can go there," Aang replied. "The problem is...you're not going to kick my butt. I love you, but I will be the one doing the butt-kicking today," he told his girlfriend with a confident grin.

[20:40:17] KataraPlushie "Getting a little arrogant, I see," Katara joked, suppressing a laugh. "Well, I wish you the best of luck because spirits know you'll need every ounce you can get."

[20:41:36] AangPlushie " /I'm/ arrogant?" Aang asked with a tease in his voice. "From the someone who said to me that she knows she will win...you'd better back up those words."

[20:43:49] KataraPlushie "Oh I will," she mock-threatened with a devious smile. "Think fast!" she exclaimed as she speedily conjured up a snowball and hurled it his way, landing a direct hit.

[20:48:50] AangPlushie "Oh, starting early, are we?" Aang said. He quickly gathered up a snowball and fired it using Airbending, and the ball made contact with her shoulder. With a laugh, he took to hiding to avoid her next shot.

[20:51:23] KataraPlushie Katara only laughed as the snowball hit her shoulder and called after him as he retreated elsewhere. "Already going to hide? Man, will this be an easy victory for me!" She formed another snowball and chased after him before firing.

[20:53:07] AangPlushie Aang redirected the snowball with Airbending, pushing it to his left. "Keep in mind who you're dealing with!" Aang yelled back, before gathering his next shot.

[20:55:51] KataraPlushie "I should say the same for you!" Katara called out. She simply sidestepped his next shot and bent a few more snowballs out of the ground, launching them one by one.

[20:57:44] AangPlushie Aang was caught out of defense, and two of the snowballs hit him. "Oh, that's how we're going to play, huh?" He gathered up some snowballs and took off on his glider, throwing the snowballs from above her.

[21:01:07] KataraPlushie Katara was able to melt a few, but one managed to land in her hair. She laughed, brushed the snow out of her hair and called out, "Nice try, but you won't be able to escape my wrath just by doing some fancy gliding." She hurled several his way, one after the other, non-stop.

[21:03:18] AangPlushie Aang flew through the air, dodging some of her shots, but again, a couple of snowballs managed to hit him. He landed back on the ground, and decided to follow her technique. "Remember, you did most of my Waterbending instruction!"

[21:04:58] KataraPlushie "So?" she asked. "Doesn't change the fact that I will beat you." Katara formed three more snowballs and fired them all at once.

[21:06:23] AangPlushie Aang melted those three snowballs with Firebending. "Master of all four elements, Katara!" He then whipped another set of snowballs at his girlfriend.

[21:09:08] KataraPlushie Katara easily melted the next round he fired. "Ha, yeah, but amateur in the art of snowball fighting," she said cockily. "Well, catch me if you can!" She began riding off on a stream of water.

[21:10:56] AangPlushie Aang gathered up some snowballs and then whipped up an air scooter, riding on it to catch up with her. She got into his close sight, and then he hit her from behind with the snowballs. "The power of Airbending!"

[21:12:59] KataraPlushie In mere seconds after being hit, Katara stopped short, quickly moved to the side so as to prevent collision and mercilessly tossed a round of snowballs at Aang who was still trying to chase her down. "The power of surprise," she shot back.

[21:15:27] AangPlushie Aang fell off his air scooter. He got up and used a quick gust of wind to blow the snow off his body. The next thing was him resuming the chase for her on a new air scooter.

[21:17:17] KataraPlushie Katara threw a few more snowballs his way before speeding off again. He's pretty good at this, she thought to herself, but not good enough to best me.

[21:19:18] AangPlushie This time, Aang held onto his air scooter and continued chasing her. /I will not let her get away from me./ He picked up a few more snowballs using his bending and launched them directly at her.

[21:22:01] KataraPlushie His next shots caught Katara by surprise and all managed to hit her. As the last one did, she fell to the ground onto the snow. "Agh!" she exclaimed as she hit the ground and remained there.

[21:24:47] AangPlushie Aang's momentum stopped as she hit the ground, not moving. He turned around and looked at his girlfriend with a look of concern. "Katara?" He said, walking up to her.

[21:27:04] KataraPlushie Katara bit down on her lower lip, a pained expression on her face. "Ouch...," she said in a hushed voice. She soon saw Aang standing over her, looking worried. Perfect. She sent a large clump of snow at him, getting him by surprise.

[21:28:43] AangPlushie Aang was thrown back by the snow clump. He got back up and fired a short series of snowballs at her. "That's what you get for tricking me like that!"

[21:31:32] KataraPlushie Katara deflected a few and was hit by some. "Ha!" she barked out a laugh. "You are so gullible. Score one for the best," she teased and sent another few snowballs his way.

[21:32:56] AangPlushie "I'll show you who's the best!" Aang quickly fired a blast of air which lightly knocked her to the ground. He slid down to the snowy ground and dropped some snowballs on her.

[21:35:18] KataraPlushie "You are really something else, aren't you?" Katara asked, smirking slightly as a few more plopped down on her. "I thought I'd be the winner by now, but I guess I've really underestimated you."

[21:36:51] AangPlushie "That you did," Aang said. "Come on...I'm the Avatar! Someone got a little overconfident in her own abilities..."

[21:40:09] KataraPlushie "Okay, so maybe I did get a little overconfident." Katara leapt to her feet and was able to knock him over once more with another stream of snow. "But I'm still a pro and I really got you good with that act, didn't I?"

[21:41:54] AangPlushie "Sure, you did," Aang replied. With that, he whipped one more snowball at her. Then, with her distracted, he pulled her down to the ground in a tackle. "There, now I got you back!"

[2012-01-02 11:28:54] <KataraPlushie> "Hey!" Katara exclaimed as Aang pulled her down. She landed next to him on the snowy ground, laughing. After a moment, she propped herself up on her elbows, looked at him and said, "Okay, how about we call a draw?"

[2012-01-02 11:30:12] <AangPlushie> Aang gave her a laugh. "So, after all that, the mighty Katara wants to declare a draw? Well...I guess the mighty Avatar can honor her request," he was chuckling all the way through.

[2012-01-02 11:32:07] <KataraPlushie> "Hey, you're just lucky it was a draw," Katara told him with a bright smile. "Because you're not getting out that easily next time." She gave him a playful shove.

[2012-01-02 11:34:09] <AangPlushie> Aang retaliated to the shove by swooshing a light blast of snow at her. "Just remember, you said you were going to kick my butt," he said, still smiling.

[2012-01-02 11:36:01] <KataraPlushie> "I will next time," she told him in a faux-threatening voice. Katara hoisted herself to her feet and offered her boyfriend a helping hand in getting up off the ground.

[2012-01-02 11:38:36] <AangPlushie> Aang took Katara's hand and got off the ground, then used a burst of air to get the snow that had gathered on each of their bodies. "So, where to now?" He asked her.

[2012-01-02 11:40:38] <KataraPlushie> "Now, we're heading to that water slide I told you they built," Katara informed him. "It's supposed to be very fast and a ton of fun."

[2012-01-02 11:41:46] <AangPlushie> "A ton of fun, huh?" Aang said. "I think I'd like that." With that, they left the open snowy area and made their way more towards the city.

[2012-01-02 11:45:27] <KataraPlushie> The two took their time walking towards the building where the said attraction was supposed to be, still pretty breathless from the snowball fight. After several minutes and a few more teases from Katara about how Aang fell for her act, they arrived at their destination and made their way inside.

[2012-01-02 11:47:02] <AangPlushie> As Katara completed another tease, Aang reminded her with one more laugh, "You said you would kick my butt..all you, Mighty Sifu Katara managed, was a mere draw." As they arrived inside, they felt the temperature rise significantly inside the building, so they removed their parkas.

[2012-01-02 11:49:37] <KataraPlushie> "Don't push your luck," Katara replied as she bundled up her parka. "Next time, I'm going full-steam ahead." An attendant came and offered to take their jackets for them then introduced them to whole new attraction.

[17:55:42] AangPlushie "You know I'll be ready," Aang replied as they continued towards the water slide. "For now, let's go check this out. Apparently a lot of people like it."

[17:59:47] KataraPlushie Quite a few citizens were gathered by the ride, some recognizing the two and waving happily towards them. The water slide was almost like a smaller version of an Omashu mail chute and looked very promising. "I wonder how much you have to pay to go on," Katara wondered aloud.

[18:01:25] AangPlushie As they made their way towards the slide, an attendant overheard Katara. "For the Avatar and his girlfriend? No charge!" Aang smiled at the attendant's words. "Well, that's nice. Thanks!"

[18:05:36] KataraPlushie "Yeah, thanks," she also happily told the attendant. "No problem," the attendant said to them, waving her hand dismissively. "It's an honor to have you two here at our newest attraction. We hope you'll enjoy it. We've already had a whole lot of positive feedback from others."

[18:07:23] AangPlushie "I'm sure we will enjoy it immensely," Aang responded, as the two made their way into line. "Oh, wow." The line was backed up a good distance; Aang and Katara had made it a point where it was a 30 minute wait.

[18:11:04] KataraPlushie "I'm sure it'll be worth the wait," Katara said. "Positive reviews, no accidents or anything and a real thriller, they say. I could use an adrenaline rush after doing virtually nothing for the past couple days."

[18:12:14] AangPlushie "Isn't that the truth," the young Avatar remarked. "As an Air Nomad, it's tough to have to stay in one place, being inactive for an extended period.

[18:18:52] KataraPlushie "Oh yeah, because you're just naturally used to travelling a whole lot," she replied. A few far-off screams could be heard and a splash sounded, only serving to excite her more. "It'll kind of be like riding on one of those mail carts in Omashu," she commented. "Only a lot less destructive."

[18:20:14] AangPlushie "Riding down the Omashu Delivery System wasn't really destructive when I did that with Bumi 100 years ago," Aang remarked. "It just didn't work out the time we tried it."

[18:23:06] KataraPlushie "I'll say," Katara agreed. She tried to remember what had gone wrong that time, but couldn't put her finger on it; it had been over a year ago. "Well, let's hope nothing goes wrong this time," she joked.

[18:47:38] AangPlushie "I'm sure nothing will," Aang said, as they made their way to about the halfway point of the line. "At least the line is moving pretty fast."

[18:53:23] KataraPlushie "Yeah...," said Katara. The moments passed and many shouts of delight were heard followed by the sound of water sloshing about. Citizens stepped off, grins on their faces and sopping wet. At last, they were almost at the head of the line, just behind three others.

[18:54:31] AangPlushie "You ready?" Aang asked of his sweetheart. "We're going to be up soon."

[18:57:18] KataraPlushie "More than ready," she answered with a bright smile. The three people before them followed another attendant to the ride. "So who wants to sit up front?"

[18:58:31] AangPlushie "Ladies first," Aang said, moving his arm out as if to tell Katara to go up there.

[19:03:02] KataraPlushie "Alright then, if you insist." Katara stepped before him. A few moments later, a different attendant approached and greeted them. "Welcome, Avatar Aang and Katara. Are you two ready to board?"

[19:04:26] AangPlushie Aang gave a simple nod, ready to enjoy the newly built slide. For a second, he thought about how great it was to be having a day of fun after such a long stretch of fear and stress.

[19:09:28] KataraPlushie Katara also nodded in agreement and the two followed the attendant to the adjacent room where the large water slide stood in all its glory. She noticed the three citizens that were before them prepared to go down then nudged Aang excitedly. "Alright, it'll only be a few more minutes," the attendant told them.

[19:11:50] AangPlushie Aang took a look at Katara who was clearly excited to head down the slide. "Not much longer now," he remarked.

[19:14:54] KataraPlushie "Uh huh," was all she could say. In no time at all, the two were told they could ascend the steps that led to the peak of the slide. "I think it's really great that we're just kicking back today and doing something wacky for once," Katara said as they climbed to the top.

[19:16:30] AangPlushie "I know," Aang said. "Some people might think we're immature for this, but what's wrong with having some fun once in a while?" With that said, the two made their way to where the slide began and prepared to descend. [19:20:10] KataraPlushie "Ha, immature," Katara replied in a huff. The two took their respective seats in the cart, Katara at the front. The drop was steep and a long way from the ground. She felt more eager than ever, biting her lip in anticipation.

[19:21:25] AangPlushie "Are the both of you ready?" The attendant next to the slide asked. "Make sure you get a tight hold of the cart, there are some sharp turns on the way down."

[19:24:23] KataraPlushie They both told him they were ready and paid heed to his warning, gripping onto the handles of the cart. The attendant stood up and signaled that they were ready. "Can't wait...," Katara whispered one last time.

[19:25:56] AangPlushie The attendant bent the water so as to direct it downstream, and their descent down the water slide began. The two held on tight as they slid down the slide's curves.

[19:28:54] KataraPlushie They gained momentum, at first going at a modest rate and then speeding faster than a lightning bolt in mere seconds. Water sprayed her and wind rushed in her ears. "Woohoo!" Katara cried out as they slid down.

[19:30:50] AangPlushie "Yeahhhh!" Aang yelled as their speed continued to pick up, hitting the midway point of the slide before they knew it. Their ride indeed was proving to be a fast and intense one.

[19:34:49] KataraPlushie It grew to be even more fun as they hit curves and turns, jolting the two from side to side. Waves of water hit them in the face which only increased the excitement in the air. Katara laughed and shouted, "This is what I'm talking about!"

[19:36:39] AangPlushie "This might be even better than Omashu!" Aang yelled, as he too was laughing as they made their way towards the last part of the slide.

[19:40:28] KataraPlushie Towards the end, it was a mere steep slope downward and the two simply blazed towards the end. They finally hit level ground, although even then it took quite a while for them to slow down. Sprays of water still erupted from impact, soaking them to the bone even more.

[19:41:29] AangPlushie Aang took some breaths as their ride ended. "Now /that/ was exciting," he finally remarked.

[19:45:19] KataraPlushie "I'll say," Katara readily agreed, pushing back strands of wet hair that hung in her face. She looked over at Aang with a wide grin on her face. They were both hyped up and drenched.

[19:47:53] AangPlushie Aang returned the grin, looking at her. This day, so far, was turning out very well. The two then locked hands and made their way towards the exit.

[19:49:32] KataraPlushie "Did you two enjoy?" one worker asked them as they prepared to leave. "Definitely," Katara told her, beginning to bend some of the water off her. "And we'll be sure to come by the next time we come here. This would be fun, I think, for the whole team."

[19:50:15] AangPlushie "Could you imagine trying to get Mai down this?" Aang said with a laugh. "But yes, we will return here at some point."

[2012-01-03 18:14:54] <KataraPlushie> Katara chuckled at the thought of dragging the stoic knife-thrower onto such a thriller. The worker beamed and said, "Well, we hope to see you here soon." The two then exited the room, Katara bending out the rest of water from her clothing. "So we've done the things I wanted to do," she said to Aang. "What about you?"

[2012-01-03 18:16:05] <AangPlushie> "Well, there's one thing we haven't done in a while," Aang remarked, as they made their way towards the exit, getting their parkas back in the process.

[2012-01-03 18:18:19] <KataraPlushie> "Oh, and what may that be?" Katara asked curiously as she slipped into her coat.

[2012-01-03 18:19:39] <AangPlushie> Aang got his coat back on. "Well...I don't know if penguins live up here...but it's been a while since we've gone penguin sledding."

[2012-01-03 18:22:37] <KataraPlushie> Katara brightened as she heard his suggestion. "It really has. It'd be great to go again," she told him. "I'm not sure myself if otter penguins live here, but if they do, you really want to go?"

[2012-01-03 18:24:02] <AangPlushie> "If that's okay with you," Aang responded. "I mean...I liked when we went the first time we met."

[2012-01-03 18:26:43] <KataraPlushie> "I'd love to," she readily agreed to the idea. "It'll be just like old times." She happily recalled the memory of them sledding in the South Pole, a couple of pretty naive kids at that time.

[2012-01-03 18:28:16] <AangPlushie> "All right...the thing of it is, we have to find where the penguins would be," Aang remarked as they left the building. "Hmmm..."

[2012-01-03 18:31:41] <KataraPlushie> "I'm sure they live not too far from here," Katara replied, pondering this. "In some sort of snowy field of sorts perhaps. Should we ask around or would that just seem silly?"

[2012-01-03 18:33:32] <AangPlushie> "What would be sillier; walking around aimlessly or asking?" Aang provided her with a follow-up question.

[2012-01-03 18:36:22] <KataraPlushie> "I guess you're right," Katara mumbled and they approached a middle-aged man in the street. "Excuse me, sir?" she said to him. The man looked up. "We were wondering if you knew whether otter penguins lived in this region. And if so, where would you find them?"

[2012-01-03 18:37:54] <AangPlushie> "Otter penguins?" The citizen asked. "Ehhh...I think I've seen them about a few miles outside the city. I wouldn't know though, been five years since I was up that way. But, to the city's east. You should find them."

[2012-01-03 18:41:31] <KataraPlushie> "Ah, okay," she said. "Thanks for all your help." She and Aang walked off. "Awesome, so we know where to find them. It'll be exciting doing something we haven't done in, what, years?"

[2012-01-03 18:43:07] <AangPlushie> "Yeah, it's been a while," the Avatar said. "A couple of years...I hope I remember how to catch a penguin, then get it to ride."

[2012-01-03 18:46:21] <KataraPlushie> "Heh, all you need a fish and they'll swarm around you soon enough," Katara answered, musing about the image of Aang being engulfed in a sea of penguins once.

[2012-01-03 18:47:35] <AangPlushie> "So, let's go find some fish," Aang suggested. "I guess our best bet would be to head for the water..."

[2012-01-03 18:51:01] <KataraPlushie> "Or maybe we could just buy some fish," Katara suggested. "Unless you think fresh from the ocean would be better."

[2012-01-03 18:53:02] <AangPlushie> "Well, either way will work," Aang answered. Almost as if right on cue, they saw a fish salesman nearby.

[2012-01-03 18:56:46] <KataraPlushie> Convenient..., the Waterbender thought as they headed for the vendor. "Hello. What can I do for you?" the man asked in a cheery tone. "We'll take a pound of fish," Katara placed the order.

[2012-01-03 18:57:56] <AangPlushie> The salesman gathered up the fish and gave it a quick weigh. The scale was slightly over the one pound mark. "A little over, no big deal," he remarked.

[2012-01-03 18:59:58] <KataraPlushie> He quickly wrapped up everything and told Aang as he pushed over the package, "You are the Avatar, so it's all on me. Free of charge."

[2012-01-03 19:00:40] <AangPlushie> Aang didn't expect that. "Wow, thank you sir," he added. "Any time, Avatar. Enjoy your day."

[2012-01-03 19:03:51] <KataraPlushie> "You, too," the Avatar bade him goodbye and they made their way to the outskirts of the city. "I guess being the Avatar has its perks," Katara told him in an amused tone.

[2012-01-03 19:12:03] <AangPlushie> "Yeah, some perks I didn't expect," Aang responded. "I mean, free food? Truth of it is, sometimes I get uncomfortable taking all these perks..."

[2012-01-03 19:14:53] <KataraPlushie> "Really?" Katara asked. This was new to hear... "I guess maybe hero worship can get tiresome and all sometimes."

[2012-01-03 19:17:13] <AangPlushie> "I might be the Avatar, Aang added, "but I am just mostly a normal person like everyone else. Sometimes I want to live normally...I don't need a fancy house or something....I just need enough to have a normal life. You know, the basics."

[2012-01-03 19:20:29] <KataraPlushie> "I see," Katara said thoughtfully. "Funny how sometimes the people who have such luxury are the ones who most want to live simple lives." The large wall of the city loomed close ahead.

[2012-01-03 19:22:19] <AangPlushie> "In fifteen years or so," the Avatar continued, "If I just have a small home, a wife who loves me, a small family, and basic needs, that would be fine with me."

[2012-01-03 19:25:17] <KataraPlushie> Katara smiled and said, "Yeah, to just have the few essentials and a loving family would suit me as well." She glanced over at the Avatar, wondering where exactly they would end up in the future.

[2012-01-03 19:29:39] <AangPlushie> Aang gave a thought about the future, but decided against pursuing it any further, as it was still a little early to be thinking about it. "I don't see why people need big houses and fancy clothing to be happy."

[2012-01-03 19:31:27] <KataraPlushie> "To be honest, neither do I," Katara muttered. "Sure, it's nice to have expensive things and such, but I think people spend too much time worrying about money and valuables. They don't actually get to live life."

[2012-01-03 19:33:33] <AangPlushie> "Right, unlike us," Aang said. "Here we are, enjoying a fun day, without needing such luxury. Just water sliding, snowball fights, and now penguin sledding."

[2012-01-03 19:36:41] <KataraPlushie> "Exactly," Katara replied. "Look, we're almost at the wall." She gestured to the towering barrier that wasn't too far from them. "A few more minutes and we'll be whipping down the snowy banks of the North Pole."

[2012-01-03 19:38:15] <AangPlushie> "That we will," he said as the wall grew larger and more in sight. "I hope the penguins that guy saw are still there."

[2012-01-03 19:42:09] <KataraPlushie> "I'm sure they will be," she assured him. "I don't think they'd attempt to make any journey to the South Pole," she added light-heartedly. Several more moments of marching forward brought them to the base of the wall where a few men guarded it from the inside.

[2012-01-03 19:43:55] <AangPlushie> The Avatar and his girlfriend walked past the guards with no issue, and soon found themselves at the snow-covered outside. Aang's hopes rose as he saw a penguin resting on the snowy, icy ground.

[2012-01-03 19:49:06] <KataraPlushie> They traveled a bit further and were greeted by the sight of more of the furry little creatures. Katara was relieved at this and she could tell Aang was, too. A few penguins began crowding around them. "I think they know what we have on our hands," Katara said, gesturing to the fish.

[2012-01-03 19:50:07] <AangPlushie> "Gee, I wonder...." Aang spoke with a sarcastic tone, and pulled out a fish.

[2012-01-03 19:53:16] <KataraPlushie> Immediately, several birds gathered around him, eager at the sight. Katara herself took a fish and was surrounded in a similar manner.

[18:21:22] AangPlushie Aang quickly moved to capture a penguin. Within a moment, he got one all ready for sledding. He looked over to his girlfriend to see if she had gotten one.

[18:24:06] KataraPlushie Katara had no trouble herself catching a penguin. Within moments, the two perched atop the edge of a snowy slope, having mounted their penguins and prepared to speed down the hill.

[18:25:12] AangPlushie Aang fired a short air blast, setting their penguins into motion and beginning their speeding trek which would lead to the ground below them. It was like his first day out of the iceberg all over again.

[18:28:35] KataraPlushie Katara let out a laugh as they began their descent down the hill, picking up speed and sending up sprays of snow. Maybe what they were doing would seem childish to others, but it didn't matter. Having had to have grown up quickly, she sometimes needed the chance to feel like a little kid again.

[18:30:37] AangPlushie It was an uplifting feeling for Aang to get out like this; the time for fun had to end over most of the last year. Now, he was doing what he wanted, able to actually live out some of his childhood as it was fading to his teenage years. He too added a laugh as they continued down at a high speed.

[18:34:29] KataraPlushie Katara wove around snow columns and went briefly airborne as she rode up an upturned ledge. "Last one to that snow bank over there," she indicated a bank off in the distance, "is rotten seal jerky!"

[18:35:50] AangPlushie "Then you'd better wash up soon," Aang yelled back, "Because I'm going to beat you there!" He was smiling and laughing all the way through.

[18:39:10] KataraPlushie "In your dreams!" the Waterbender called out over her shoulder as she whipped down the slope at lightning speed. She chuckled and said, "You know, we should drag my brother along the next time we want to go penguin sledding."

[18:43:45] AangPlushie "Good luck with that!" Aang replied, while trying to keep himself focused. He closed in on Katara, coming up parallel to her on the right.

[18:46:11] KataraPlushie "Heh, yeah, spirits know I'll need it," Katara said light-heartedly. Seeing how Aang was closing in on her, she sent a small water whip his way.

[18:47:10] AangPlushie Aang dodged the water whip and remained focused on his girlfriend, trying to pass her. /That's how she wants to play, huh?/ He tossed a small airblast to give him a forward advance.

[18:49:54] KataraPlushie With his back slightly turned, Katara took the opportunity to send another wave of water his way before urging on her penguin even further and faster.

[18:52:11] AangPlushie Aang again dodged as they neared the finish line Katara had pointed out earlier. It was going to be close as Katara had nearly caught up to him.

[18:56:15] KataraPlushie Katara's hair whipped around and the wind surged past her furiously. She just needed to go a bit faster and victory would be hers. Using Waterbending while still holding on tight, she helped her penguin glide more easily towards the bank.

[2012-01-16 16:02:27] <AangPlushie> Aang worked hard to keep up with his girlfriend, gathering another burst of air to fly forward. The snow bank was now in site.

[2012-01-16 16:08:01] <KataraPlushie> Both practically crossed the line neck-in-neck. It was hard to see who would claim victory with snow being sprayed about in all directions from the penguins and bending alike. But they had reached the snow bank and Katara started to slow down a bit.

[2012-01-16 16:10:09] <AangPlushie> Aang also slowed his speed as they reached the finish line Katara had chosen. "I think I won that," he said with a confident smile.

[2012-01-16 16:11:43] <KataraPlushie> As they came to a stop, Katara kicked up a pile of snow in his direction and scoffed. "I think you're delusional," she teased, dismounting her penguin.

[2012-01-16 16:13:09] <AangPlushie> Aang retaliated with a small gust of wind in her direction. "Really? I think you saw that last Airbending blast push me ahead of you."

[2012-01-16 16:15:29] <KataraPlushie> "I think I managed to catch up to you in the end." She placed her hands on her hips and gave him a saccharine smile. The two penguins, in the mean time, shook out their fur and waddled off. [2012-01-16 16:16:27] <AangPlushie> Aang gave her a playful shove. "I seemed to be ahead of you," he replied. "Keep dreaming."

[2012-01-16 16:19:24] <KataraPlushie> "Whatever you say, oh wise Avatar," said Katara. She looked over the bank in the direction of the city then at the receding sun that was turning the sky an ethereal orange. "I guess we should be heading back."

[2012-01-16 16:20:10] <AangPlushie> Aang saw the setting sun as well, and was sort of disappointed that their day of fun was nearing its end. "Yeah...we should."

[2012-01-16 16:23:01] <KataraPlushie> "It's too bad the day's almost over," Katara said, sensing his disappointment and feeling sad herself to see the time fly by. "But it was more fun than I could've imagined. And who knows, we may get to do something like this again soon."

[2012-01-16 16:24:56] <AangPlushie> "I've missed having days like this," Aang said. "Before the War, while still living at the Southern Air Temple, I used to have days like all the time. Maybe not quite penguin sledding or snowball fights...but days to just leave stress behind and have fun."

[2012-01-16 16:29:11] <KataraPlushie> "That must've been a lot of fun," Katara replied with a smile. She couldn't say the same thing for her life before the War, but she pushed that out of her mind.

[2012-01-16 16:31:55] <AangPlushie> "With the end of the War," Aang resumed, "I know people might consider me like a little kid, but I wanted to have more days like this. It seemed like they just became hard to come by once I got involved in the War."

[2012-01-16 16:49:31] <KataraPlushie> "They were a rarity," Katara agreed. "But we can more nowadays. And maybe we will look like a bunch of little kids, but I don't mind. Spirits know everyone needs some time to have fun every now and then." With that, she took Aang's hand and they headed back to the city.

[2012-01-16 16:54:21] <AangPlushie> "Yeah....all work and no play makes me a dull boy," he said with a chuckle, as they walked back to the city.

[2012-01-16 16:56:51] <KataraPlushie> "Oh come on, since when are you ever dull?" Katara asked, nudging his side. Their feet crunched in the snow as they neared the tribe that lay ahead.

[2012-01-16 16:59:02] <AangPlushie> "Just saying," Aang replied. "It's always nice to have fun once in a while, with still some things leftover from the War that need to be settled. I mean, last month I had to go to the Fire Nation for more meetings...I've had a lot of those."

[2012-01-16 17:01:38] <KataraPlushie> "You really have been busy lately," Katara said in a slightly wistful voice. "I hate when you have to attend those meetings overseas. It seems as though everything falls out of place."

[2012-01-16 17:04:14] <AangPlushie> "Yeah," Aang whispered in somewhat of a downbeat tone. "I miss you during that time, and some of those meetings are just really boring. I know I have to be involved in them more, but it's also tough to sit through them that whole time."

[2012-01-16 17:08:30] <KataraPlushie> "It's tough back home, too," Katara told him. She brightened a little bit and said, "But we're here now and that's what counts. And those meetings are better than having to deal with an actual war."

[2012-01-16 17:09:29] <AangPlushie> "That is true...dodging the Fire Nation daily got old," he said with a laugh. "It just feels good to have peace."

[2012-01-16 17:12:07] <KataraPlushie> "Absolutely," Katara said, chuckling slightly at the joke. In no time, they found themselves inside the city wall, the houses tinted with orange yet the people still busy as ever.

[2012-01-16 17:14:27] <AangPlushie> Aang and Katara neared the home where they were staying. "I'm just glad we have time for a vacation to ourselves," he added. "These last few days have been relaxing."

[2012-01-16 17:16:32] <KataraPlushie> "Yeah, we needed to get away from everyone else for a while," Katara agreed. "It was long needed, even if it did snow heavily for most of the time we were here."

[2012-01-16 17:18:12] <AangPlushie> "I guess that's what you expect with this climate," Aang remarked. "But yeah....a vacation is just what we needed. Speaking of those meetings...I have another one coming up in two weeks.

[2012-01-16 17:21:43] <KataraPlushie> Katara frowned. "Oh... I didn't realize," she said, trying not to sound too upset. "How long will you be away?"

[2012-01-16 17:23:14] <AangPlushie> "It's in the Fire Nation...and it's for a week," Aang said, and then sighed sadly. "Another week away from you," he whispered.

[2012-01-16 17:27:58] <KataraPlushie> A week would feel like a million years to her, Katara could already tell. "I hate when you have to leave," she said sullenly, resting her head on his shoulder. "But you'll write, of course, won't you?"

[2012-01-16 17:29:14] <AangPlushie> "Of course I will," Aang said with a smile. "It's bad enough I won't get to see you, it would be even worse if I didn't get to talk to you."

[2012-01-21 21:10:37] <KataraPlushie> "It's still pretty bad just writing," Katara said, half-teasing but also somewhat meaning it, "but it'll have to do." A slight wind picked up. "C'mon, let's go inside," she said, shivering slightly. "It's getting cold. Plus my feet are killing me from all that walking."

[2012-01-21 21:14:21] <AangPlushie> "Yes, it's late," Aang said, and the two returned inside. Their day was nearly over, all that remained was some dinner and relaxation.

[2012-01-21 21:17:20] <KataraPlushie> After dinner, the two relaxed in the living room of the house where they were staying. Katara lay on a sofa, looking out the window and watching the sun set, thinking about how today had practically been a paradise.

[2012-01-21 21:18:38] <AangPlushie> Aang sat by the fire, tossing around a small ball of air, with Momo chasing it. He took a look at his girlfriend and simply smiled, thankful for everything she had brought him.

[2012-01-21 21:21:28] <KataraPlushie> Sensing his eyes on her, Katara looked over her shoulder and found the young Avatar grinning at her. She responded with her own amused smile, a small conversation almost without words that weren't needed because they understood one another perfectly.

[2012-01-21 21:23:51] <AangPlushie> "Katara," Aang said quietly. "Do you know how much you have done for me?"

[2012-01-21 21:28:02] <KataraPlushie> "I could ask you the same thing," she replied, tucking in her knees and resting her head on them. And it was true; it was impossible to count how many things Aang had done for her.

[2012-01-21 21:30:24] <AangPlushie> "It goes far and beyond this day," Aang replied. "I just don't know where I'd be without you, even if I was out of the iceberg...you know, I had a nightmare a couple of nights ago...it was not fun."

[2012-01-21 21:31:56] <KataraPlushie> Katara frowned at this. "Really? What was it about?" she asked.

[2012-01-21 21:32:35] <AangPlushie> "It was about us..." Aang replied, his face growing more sad. "I...had a dream...that you chose someone else."

[2012-01-21 21:37:03] <KataraPlushie> "Oh..." Katara shifted as a melancholy look crossed her face when he confessed this. After a beat, she got up and walked across the room, sitting on the floor besides Aang. "But you know that would never happen." And it wouldn't; she couldn't think of her being with anyone else ever.

[2012-01-21 21:38:59] <AangPlushie> "I guess this was just one of my fears running with me," Aang stated. "But...it was just...we were back at Ba Sing Se, and you were running to hug someone, I assumed it was me...only thing is, you hugged Zuko and then gave him a kiss. You turned to me and said that you only really thought of me as a friend, and you had fallen for him for all that he did for you. It was scary..."

Katara holds Aang

"Well, you know you have nothing to fear, right? I would never choose someone else over you." -Katara

[2012-01-21 21:46:23] <KataraPlushie> Katara flinched as the scenario unfolded. She hated to think that he feared something like that and moved closer, slowly pulling him into a hug. "Well, you know you have nothing to fear, right? I would never choose someone else over you."

[2012-01-21 21:47:53] <AangPlushie> "When we were on Ember Island, and you said you were 'confused'," Aang whispered, "I got worried. I thought you didn't know if you loved me or not...you turned away from my kiss...and I thought we weren't going to be."

[2012-01-21 21:52:28] <KataraPlushie> Katara sighed, thinking back to that night. "I will admit, I was confused. But I did love you at that time. It was just a difficult time for me then with Sozin's Comet coming. I was in denial, but only because I didn't want to lose you to Ozai."

[17:11:22] AangPlushie Aang sighed heavily. "If you want my honest opinion, Katara...I don't know what I feared more: Losing the world...or losing you."

[17:15:21] KataraPlushie Although moved by this comment, Katara was a bit confused. "What do you mean? 'Lose' as in being killed or me turning my back on you after the War?"

[17:16:31] AangPlushie "Either way," Aang responded. "Saving the world would mean nothing to me if I didn't have you with me when it was all said and done."

[17:22:26] KataraPlushie "I did kind of look death in the face when that lightning came streaking towards me," she said, shuddering slightly at the thought. "But you never had to worry about me ever leaving you in the end."

[17:24:09] AangPlushie "I hate to think about a life without you," Aang turned to her and said. "If you were to leave....I don't know what I would do...honestly....I don't."

[17:29:07] KataraPlushie Katara drew him in closer. "You shouldn't let your thoughts get away from you like that. You don't ever have to worry about me walking away," she whispered.

[17:32:40] AangPlushie "Sometimes they just do, I guess," Aang responded, and he finally placed his arms around her. "I love you, Katara...I'm glad I don't have to know without you."

[17:35:54] KataraPlushie Katara rested her head on top of his. "I love you, too," she told him, "to the moon and back ten times over." A silence fell over the two as they simply sat in the room which was darkening as dusk approached.

[17:40:52] AangPlushie Aang relaxed as he held Katara closely, thinking about how he would never have to worry about her walking away. He kissed her light on the cheek, allowing her to lay there. He then closed his eyes in relaxation, thinking of his day.

[17:48:11] KataraPlushie "It's funny to think how I once never thought that I'd be living a life like this," Katara remarked softly. "It's almost like a fairytale. Sometimes I worry it might be taken away from me, or all be just a dream."

[17:50:40] AangPlushie "Well, a while ago, when I was trying to find you in Ba Sing Se," Aang began. "Iroh was helping me with that, and he told me that sometimes life is like a dark tunnel, and you can't always see the light at the end of the tunnel. But, if you keep moving, you will come to a better place."

[17:54:52] KataraPlushie "That's a great proverb and considering everything that's happened, I guess it's true, too," Katara replied. "Iroh always seems to know the answer."

[17:56:07] AangPlushie "It definitely has held true," Aang added. "100 years encased in ice, and then to lay eyes on the best girl I ever saw..."

[18:10:00] KataraPlushie Heat crept onto her cheeks and she smiled shyly. "And life was good to that girl, more than good really, and she got the best guy in the universe. People say life is unfair and it is sometimes, but I'm just grateful it wasn't when it came to this."

[18:12:31] AangPlushie "I am as well," Aang said. "I'm glad that the end of the tunnel was this. It has been great times being with you for sure."

[2012-02-04 11:05:39] <KataraPlushie> "You bet," Katara agreed. A few more moments passed before she remarked, "I think I'll be hitting the hay early tonight. Trying to best you in everything is tiring. I need my sleep."

[2012-02-04 11:07:18] <AangPlushie> "Except you didn't best me," he teased. "At best, you got a draw." The Avatar laughed lightly.

[2012-02-04 11:10:43] <KataraPlushie> "Don't push your luck," she mock-warned. "I will get my vengeance sooner or later and you'll be sorry. All is fair in love and war, as they say."

[2012-02-04 11:12:18] <AangPlushie> "I'd like to see you try, oh mighty Katara," Aang added with another laugh. "Don't think you'll be able to fool me like you did earlier today."

[2012-02-04 11:17:05] <KataraPlushie> "I don't know, you're pretty gullible... I'll figure out a way to pull off that damsel in distress act again," she said with a wink. "I smart that way and don't deny it."

[2012-02-04 11:18:15] <AangPlushie> "Okay, so you did get me there," Aang replied. "However, like I said, you won't get away with it again...I've got my eye on you," he finished with pointing to his left eye and opening it a little wider.

[2012-02-04 11:22:57] <KataraPlushie> Katara rolled her eyes good-naturedly and then said, "Well, good luck with that. In the mean time, maybe we should have dinner and light a fire. It's getting dark out." She sat up straighter.

[2012-02-04 11:26:08] <AangPlushie> Aang felt his stomach growl somewhat, and noticed the fire he had lit earlier was fading. As a result, he gave it more juice with a quick shot of Firebending. "Yeah, we should eat."

[2012-02-04 11:31:25] <KataraPlushie> The couple slowly stood up and Katara headed off into the kitchen. In no time, she had a meal prepared and the table set for the two. "Dinner is served," she said to Aang who appeared in the doorway.

[2012-02-04 11:32:39] <AangPlushie> Aang saw the dinner before him. Before he could eat though, he saw Momo swipe a dinner roll and begin to nibble on it. Aang simply chuckled and shook his head at his pet lemur.

[21:37:23] KataraPlushie [21:07] <@KataraPlushie> "Heh, what a naughty lemur you are," Katara cooed, before taking her seat across from Aang. The setting was very peaceful with candles lit around the table and everything set just so. "It's too bad we have to leave here in two days," she said, "but there's no place like home."

[21:37:36] KataraPlushie [21:09] <@AangPlushie> "Yeah, and I'll tell you what," Aang said, "I was a little unsure at first about moving to the South Pole, but now that I've settled in and gotten used to it, it's a great home indeed."

[21:37:47] KataraPlushie [21:13] <@KataraPlushie> "I'm really happy it all worked out in the end," she replied. "Although if it hadn't and you had to live anywhere else in the world, where would it be?"

[21:37:58] KataraPlushie [21:14] <@AangPlushie> "Hmmm..." Aang thought. "To be honest, I'm not sure. I would prefer a quieter place, but then having to be away from you...I don't know."

[21:38:09] KataraPlushie [21:18] <@KataraPlushie> Katara nodded at this and said, "I understand." She thought back to something else that he had mentioned before. "Speaking of places, didn't you tell me something about you and Fire Lord Zuko establishing a city where all people could live?"

[21:38:19] KataraPlushie [21:23] <AangPlushie> "Oh, yeah," Aang's memory came back to him. "It was a project Zuko, Kuei and myself came up with for the displaced colonists. A new land in the Earth Kingdom for not just them, but people of all nations. A new....united land. A united republic, you could call it."

[21:38:28] KataraPlushie [21:28] <@KataraPlushie> "It sounds like a great project," Katara remarked. "To have people from all over the world living together to kind of smooth things out. Some people still regard others from the other nation as enemies." She shook her head slightly at this.

[21:38:38] KataraPlushie [21:29] <AangPlushie> "A hundred of years of war has certainly done a lot to tear the world apart," Aang replied. "It's a very long process to reunite it. However, this idea of such a nation, I think it could work if we execute it right."

[21:38:50] KataraPlushie [21:31] <@KataraPlushie> "I'm sure with careful planning it can be a success," Katara told him. "Have you any idea what the city will be like? Or is it too early yet to know?"

[21:39:13] KataraPlushie [21:32] <AangPlushie> "It's still too early," the Avatar answered. "This is all still in the planning stages. We're not sure when we'll begin the process."

[2012-02-04 21:42:22] <KataraPlushie> Katara nodded again, trying to envision a new metropolis in the Earth Kingdom. "I'm guessing you'll probably be talking a bit about it during those meetings next week," she said with some solemnity in her voice.

[2012-02-04 21:43:03] <AangPlushie> "It's the first subject we have planned actually," Aang said. "We'll see where it goes from here."

[2012-02-04 21:46:06] <KataraPlushie> "I see," Katara replied. "Well, while you're discussing plans for the city, I'll be putting up with my brother on my own," she tried her hand at a joke.

[2012-02-04 21:47:06] <AangPlushie> "Heh, unless you want to come to the Fire Nation with me," Aang suggested. "Anything's better than having to deal with Sokka and his complaints of oogies," he laughed.

[2012-02-04 21:50:47] <KataraPlushie> Katara laughed as well at his joke. "Oh yeah, that...," she said. "I guess maybe I should come along with you then. Spare myself the pain."

[2012-02-04 21:51:35] <AangPlushie> "Yeah," Aang said. "Sokka and his oogies...every time we get close there he goes with his oogies..."

[2012-02-04 21:54:14] <KataraPlushie> "I know he's my brother and I love him, but gosh, sometimes I'm almost ready to run away from him whenever he gets like that," Katara said light-heartedly.

[2012-02-04 21:55:07] <AangPlushie> "Though what's worse," Aang asked, "Him saying oogies all the time, or Toph 'explaining' them?"

[2012-02-04 21:58:55] <KataraPlushie> "Oh spirits, don't even go there," Katara shook her head. "All I can think is, 'No, Toph, don't bring that up.' The whole thing is a nightmare."

[2012-02-04 21:59:58] <AangPlushie> "Yeah, that was...just...odd," Aang replied. "Did she really have to...do that?"

[2012-02-04 22:02:09] <KataraPlushie> "I'll confess, I was this close to lobbing a chunk of snow in her mouth or something," Katara said, holding her index finger and thumb close together for emphasis. "You looked ready to lose it."

[2012-02-04 22:04:01] <AangPlushie> "I was just weirded out by it," Aang said. "Oh well, at least we don't have to worry about it now. Though, I wonder how Toph's doing with her students these days...she told us her first three stunk."

[2012-02-04 22:05:33] <KataraPlushie> "True that," she agreed. "And, I know, that's a shame about those three. But I'm confident that she'll be a great teacher and set them straight. She's a master Earthbender and won't take any nonsense lying down."

[2012-02-04 22:06:43] <AangPlushie> "I know that feeling," Aang thought back to his Earthbending training. "Speaking of which...I heard Pakku was thinking about having you become an instructor sometime down the line."

[2012-02-04 22:09:24] <KataraPlushie> "Really?" Katara gave Aang a questioning look, surprised at this. "I haven't heard anything about that. I guess it would be pretty nice to teach others Waterbending, but I don't know. I don't have the same strictness as Toph."

[2012-02-04 22:10:35] <AangPlushie> "Yeah, Pakku told me just before we left to talk to you about it," Aang answered. "I don't think you'll have to worry about strictness...Toph is quite an exception to the rule if you ask me."

[2012-02-04 22:13:43] <KataraPlushie> "Ha, yeah, I suppose so. I've never seen a thirteen year-old with the brute toughness that she has," Katara mused. "I guess I wouldn't mind being a teacher. To be able to pass on what I know would be an honor."

[2012-02-04 22:15:04] <AangPlushie> "I think you would work out well as a teacher," Aang said. "You have the perfect mix of kindness but also strictness to balance each other out."

[2012-02-04 22:17:19] <KataraPlushie> "Well, if you think so, then I'll definitely be thinking about it," Katara told him. "And I'll be sure to thank him for the consideration once we get back." She sat back in her chair, finished with her meal.

[2012-02-04 22:19:52] <AangPlushie> "I hope you do take him up on the offer," Aang replied, and took the last bite of his meal.

[2012-02-04 22:22:35] <KataraPlushie> "There's a good chance I will," she answered. She laid her palms on the edge of the table. "Alright, let me clear up these dishes and then we can start settling down for the night."

[2012-02-04 22:23:30] <AangPlushie> "Let me help you," Aang suggested, and he took his dish into the kitchen.

[2012-02-04 22:26:46] <KataraPlushie> "You really don't have to," Katara assured him as she blew out the candles and began stacking up the plates. "The less you move around, the better, if you're sore from today."

[17:43:07] AangPlushie "Katara, I'm fine," Aang assured her, and he started to help clear the table. "You don't have to do this on your own."

[17:45:05] KataraPlushie Katara couldn't help but smile at his insistence. "You're too caring," she told him as she filled a basin with water and began washing the dishes.

[17:47:05] AangPlushie As Katara finished washing the dishes, Aang used his Airbending to dry them off as fast as she completed them. He then saw that there was some leftover food. "Hey, since Sokka loves meat so much, we should just toss this food to him when we get back!" Aang said with a laugh.

[17:51:11] KataraPlushie "Sounds like a plan," Katara replied. "That should keep him happy and out of the way." She grinned as she thought of her brother's practical meat addiction and stacked the last dish away.

[17:53:13] AangPlushie "See that?" Aang noted. "We worked together and we got that done nice and quick. That's another advantage of working together."

[17:56:32] KataraPlushie "I guess you're right," Katara agreed, wiping her hands dry. She let out a quick sigh and turned to Aang. "So what now?"

[18:01:29] AangPlushie "Well, is there anything else that interested you tonight?" Aang asked. "We could just relax here or take a walk out to by the ocean..."

[18:03:45] KataraPlushie "Actually maybe it would be nice to walk by the ocean," she told him. "If that's okay with you."

[18:06:18] AangPlushie "Okay," Aang answered. "I thought you'd be tired out by all we did today...but hey, I'm fine with that." He took her by the hand.

[18:08:50] KataraPlushie "We won't stay out for long," Katara said as she took his hand. "And we'll just retire for the night when we get back." The two made their way outside, standing under a ceiling of stars.

[18:10:26] AangPlushie The stars and the moon cast an almost sun-like light as the couple strolled down the peaceful Northern Tribe streets. The city had quieted down under the fall of night, almost making it feel as if they were the only two there.

[2012-02-06 18:15:51] <KataraPlushie> They walked in step, not saying much, rather letting that reticence hang over them. After passing what seemed to be a healing hut, though, Katara said, "I wonder if the Northern Tribe allows girls to learn Waterbending for fighting purposes..."

[2012-02-06 18:17:36] <AangPlushie> "I haven't heard much in the way of that lately," Aang said. "I hope they do...it's not right that women get held out of that, if you ask me. I mean, as we can see...women are quite capable," he looked towards Katara.

[2012-02-06 18:21:38] <KataraPlushie> "Yeah, I'm pretty amazing, aren't I?" Katara mock-gloated about herself. "But yeah, maybe I should ask Master Pakku about that. It's something I'd love to see happen."

[2012-02-06 18:23:53] <AangPlushie> "Hey, if anyone can help make it happen...it would be you," Aang said. "You proved that women are just as equal to men."

[2012-02-06 18:28:37] <KataraPlushie> "Yeah, I guess, although I was a bit hotheaded about the whole thing," Katara said, thinking about how she had cracked the ground, broken two vases and challenged Pakku to a duel in her rage. "But I don't take things lying down."

[2012-02-06 18:30:22] <AangPlushie> "I would be mad if I traveled from the opposite side of the world to be told 'no' as well," Aang added. "I didn't quite expect to do what you did, but still..."

[2012-02-06 18:40:25] <KataraPlushie> "It is cause to be fed up," Katara said. A few more moments of walking brought them outside the city walls to a snow bank. The water lapped serenely below them.

[2012-02-06 18:41:50] <AangPlushie> "That's a very beautiful view," Aang murmured. "The light casting off the ocean, creating that reflection...it's just awe-inspiring."

[2012-02-06 18:44:53] <KataraPlushie> "I agree whole-heartedly," Katara replied, settling down into the snow and letting her feet dangle slightly off the edge. "Sometimes if I wake up really early in the morning, I'll go down by the water. I always feel like taking you along with me, but I don't want to wake you up."

[2012-02-06 18:47:37] <AangPlushie> "Oh, don't worry about that," Aang said as he also took a seat. "I'd love to join you one of those mornings."

[2012-02-06 18:54:15] <KataraPlushie> "Well, okay," she said and began tracing her finger along in the snow absent-mindedly. She thought back to the dream Aang had told her of earlier, the slight horror of it all, and rested her head on his shoulder as if to say "I'm not going anywhere."

[2012-02-06 18:56:38] <AangPlushie> Aang looked to see his girlfriend resting on his shoulder, and laid his head down on top of hers, while looking towards the ocean still.

[2012-02-06 19:01:29] <KataraPlushie> "Wouldn't it be great if you could just freeze this moment in time?" Katara mused in a hushed voice. She loved times like this when nothing else seemed to matter.

[2012-02-06 19:03:06] <AangPlushie> "I know..." Aang replied thoughtfully. "Just us...sitting here, enjoying the peaceful times...all's quiet and settled. No worries right now..."

[2012-02-06 19:06:36] <KataraPlushie> "Yeah... Who knows, maybe they'll figure out a way one day to control time kind of like how you can control the elements," Katara said, although she knew it was a far-off possibility.

[2012-02-06 19:07:31] <AangPlushie> "Wouldn't it be nice," Aang thought about it as he rested a hand on one of Katara's.

[2012-02-06 19:11:43] <KataraPlushie> The Waterbender fell silent again, instead looking up at the stars which shone brightly for the first time they'd been at the Northern Tribe on their vacation. She felt contented yet also fatigued and knew they should be heading back soon.

[2012-02-06 19:13:13] <AangPlushie> Aang looked to see that Katara was having a hard time keeping her eyes open. "If you're tired, perhaps we should return and get our rest," Aang suggested.

[2012-02-06 19:15:48] <KataraPlushie> "I think that's be best," Katara answered, feeling slightly disappointed that tiredness had to win out in the end. She slowly straightened up and steadied herself onto her feet.

[2012-02-06 19:17:41] <AangPlushie> Aang got up and took Katara's hand again, and they made their way through the city and back in to their small home. "Well...I guess this is the end of the night."

[2012-02-06 19:19:44] <KataraPlushie> "Guess so." Katara leaned against the wall of the house and looked at him thoughtfully. "Thanks again for this day. I had a blast."

[2012-02-06 19:21:19] <AangPlushie> "It was fun," Aang looked towards her with a smile. "Glad to have just a light-hearted day for once...and also a beautiful day for it."

[2012-02-06 19:25:01] <KataraPlushie> "The spirits were good to us today," Katara remarked brightly. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and added, "Let's hope they continue to be."

[2012-02-06 19:26:30] <AangPlushie> "They have blessed us for sure," Aang replied, feeling warmth creep up his cheeks from her kiss. "Good night, Katara, I look forward to tomorrow." He then gave her a quick kiss.

[2012-02-06 19:30:25] <KataraPlushie> She smiled and looked at him through tired eyes, saying, "Good night, Aang," before starting off for her room. "Let's hope tomorrow will be as good." Although she had no doubt it would in its own way.

    • Second roleplay where this is the case and they are in a romantic relationship.
  • First and only roleplay where the Northern Water Tribe is featured.
  • First and only roleplay where penguin sledding is featured; it will be mentioned later.
  • Aang saying "You turned away from my kiss...and I thought we weren't going to be" recalls a similar line from "The Ember Island Players" when he said to Katara, "we kissed at the invasion, and I thought we were going to be together."
    • Aang also referred to Katara's confusion from that same episode, which she clarifies as her being scared of losing him in the end.
  • Aang recalls the advice given to him by Iroh in "The Crossroads of Destiny" regarding life being like a dark tunnel.
